AT&T “Any” Mobile to Mobile Calling

ATT logo

AT&T has released some news for the company and its customers and should I qualify this is positive.  According to the representative at AT&T I just spoke with details are still sketchy about which plan you need to be on but if you are a customer of the qualifying voice plan and qualifying message plan you can SIGN UP on Thursday 2/10/2011.  You don’t just get this feature you have to sign up.  So on Thursday jump to and see if this new option fits you.

I know for me, I am going to cross my fingers.  I was left out of the favorite 5 feature for the 1400 family talk plan.  I have been with AT&T since 1998 and been on the 700-minute family talk unity plan for some time.  We seldom use our home phone but we are always expiring minutes each month (that we did not use 12 months ago).  We come close some months but have not gone over.

Where I would like this new feature is my daughter line so she can talk to some friends.  She texts a lot of course but there are time when, go figure, she wants to talk.  Currently, she has to use the home phone or text.  And there are times when a friend on another carrier will call with some important teenage information and she cannot answer.

So whether it is AT&T showing some love for its customers or the invent of iPhone competition in the USA I am all for it.  Here’s hoping to it meeting my needs.  Check out the press release below….
